Answers to questions about Vital Earth products
Recommended Dosages:
The normal daily dose for all our liquids is 1 ounce
(The bottle cap is a 1 ounce measure)

You can take our liquid products straight from the bottle, or put them in juice or water. The effectiveness is not diminished by adding them to other liquids or taking them with other supplement products

When to take the products:
Method 1: Take with food
We recommend you take all Vital Earth products with food; either right before, immediately after, or during a meal. This serves several purposes:

Absorption of the supplement ingredients is enhanced by the enzymes the body naturally creates for digesting and assimilating food.

If your body isn’t producing adequate digestive enzymes, the Fulvic in all Vital Earth products will help boost that crucial enzyme activity... helping to self-correct digestive issues.

Since Fulvic enhances the absorption and utilization of all nutrients it comes in contact with, you will be getting maximum benefits from the nutrients in your food when fulvic is present.

And, most important of all...fulvic helps flush out any unbeneficial ingredients/toxins (chemical preservatives, additives, colorings, etc.) that may be in the food. That’s pretty important with today’s over-processed foods!
Method 2: Sip your dosage all day long
You can also pour any of our liquids into a water bottle and sip them throughout the day. This way you’re feeding your body small doses all day long. This is excellent for absorption also.
Can I take the supplements on an empty stomach?
It’s not the best way to do it, but yes you can. Non-breakfast eaters always ask us this! Most people can take all the products on an empty stomach with no burning or upset because Fulvic triggers enzyme/digestive activity. Also, there are no binders, fillers, or additives, which are what generally cause stomach upset.
What about taking them just before going to bed?
Taking Cal Mag Liquid or Capsules before bedtime will actually help you sleep better. Most people report that the formulas don’t interfere with sleep...but we have had the occasional customer tell us they are too "energized" to sleep if they take Super Multi close to bedtime. So, you may have to experiment and see what works best for you individually.
Can I mix all the liquids together?
Absolutely! In fact that’s the most convenient way to take them. Pour all the liquids together in a pitcher, stir, and pour this combined mixture back into the bottles. Then, for your daily dosage, take one capful for each bottle you mixed together.
Example: if you mixed Fulvic Mineral Complex, Super Multi, and Gluco Matrix, you would simply take 3 capfuls from one of the "mixed up" bottles.
Tips for being consistent:

Try taking your supplements at the same time each day so it begins to be automatic for you.

To help you remember, associate them with another daily task, such as feeding the dog, or plugging in your cell phone, so you can develop a routine.

Get in the habit of re-ordering before you run out so there is no interruption.

Put a note in an eye-catching place that serves as a reminder.

Ask us for one of our cute refrigerator magnets that have a reminder message on them.

Organize your supplements in a way that makes them easy to take each day, such as storing them on the door of your refrigerator where they’re easy to get to. If they’re stuck in the back, where you have to dig them out from behind other items, it’s inconvenient, and you might not see them.
Rebuilding / Detoxing Symptoms:
Fulvic helps neutralize or remove toxic elements from the body. It provides a natural Chelation therapy by attaching to toxins, including heavy metals, chlorination by-products, and chemicals, and then it either neutralizes them, or flushes them from the system.
Occasionally, if a customer has an excessive amount of toxic build up, they may experience flu like symptoms for a few days while toxins are being removed from the body. Symptoms may include headache, body ache, and lethargy. Even though you may not be feeling so great, detoxifying is actually a good thing because you’re cleaning out your system.
If this happens, we suggest you cut your dosage of minerals down to a level that eliminates the symptoms. Try decreasing your dosage down to 1 to 2 teaspoons for four or five days, then build back up to the full dose over the next 2 weeks. This will create a gentler detoxification, which is more beneficial and effective.
Frequently Asked Questions:
Can I take Vital Earth supplements while I am on medications?
Yes, but don’t take them at the same time. Please allow at least 2 hours between taking your supplements and your medications. This will allow your body to assimilate each independently. (See page 13 of our product catalog for more information.)
Can I take more than 1 ounce per day of the formulas?
Yes. We recommend listening to your body and paying attention to how you respond on different dosages. People who are very nutrient deficient, who have larger body sizes, or who are dealing with health challenges may require higher dosages.
It is not uncommon for our customers who are trying to detoxify the thyroid, boost overall immune function, or balance hormones to take 2 to 3 ounces per day of Fulvic Mineral Complex. And you can most definitely add an extra capful on days when you are feeling tired, stressed, or feel a cold coming on.
There are no ingredients in any of our formulas that would have any negative effects at double or triple the dosages. Once nutritional imbalances are corrected, many people settle into their own "maintenance" dosage that makes them feel their best.
Joint Problems?
Many people with severe joint issues take 2 ounces of Gluco Matrix per day, and report improvement in mobility and decreased pain when taken over time. This is because Gluco Matrix is repairing, not just covering up symptoms. And it’s shell-fish free.
Am I getting too many minerals if I take other products also?
The short answer is no because Vital Earth’s Fulvic is extracted from plant material - not rocks or clay. When plant derived fulvic enters the system, it is immediately recognized as one of nature’s essential substances. It triggers the proper metabolic response that utilizes the minerals where they’re needed, discarding those that are not needed. It is impossible for plant derived minerals to build up in the tissues.
Fulvic minerals, when taken with other supplements, will enhance how the body responds to those supplements. Essentially, when you combine ingredients with Vital Earth’s plant derived fulvic you amplify their beneficial effects.
Are Vital Earth’s plastic bottles safe? YES! Here’s why:
Dangerous and harmful plastic containers are made of polycarbonate, or polyvinyl chloride, and contain an additive called Bisphenol-A (BPA). None of these harmful plastics, containing BPA, are used in the manufacture of HDPE and PETE bottles, which are the type of bottles used for all Vital Earth’s liquid supplements.

Indigestion:
Fulvic is absolutely the best remedy available for indigestion. Many times a couple capfuls of fulvic will make uncomfortable indigestion disappear in just minutes. And what’s even better is that fulvic is helping correct the imbalance on a long term basis instead of just alleviating symptoms temporarily. In a short time, you may find yourself saying "good bye" to indigestion forever.
If you’ve eaten an especially "chemical filled" meal:
Maybe you went to dinner at a friend’s house and they served bottled salad dressing (high fructose corn syrup, MSG, vegetable oils), a flavored rice side dish (MSG in multiple forms, colorings, artificial flavorings), and meat raised with growth hormones, antibiotics, or possibly containing sulfites...and now you don’t feel so good! Take a couple capfuls of fulvic before you go to bed to help your body flush all those toxins and chemicals from your system.
