Absorption, Retention, and Utilization...
...not all supplements are alike

Because of different manufacturing processes, sources and formulas, some supplements offer very low absorption rates. This is not the case for Vital-Earth products.

As a consumer looking for the most absorbable calcium you can find, this statement is tremendously important. Pre-chelated means it is already chelated before it enters your system. Yes, this process is more expensive for us, but it enables us to achieve the maximum absorption rate available. Vital-Earth’s Cal-Mag is bonded to protein molecules. This process aids uptake, boosting absorption by 40% to 50%. Because Cal-Mag is pre-chelated before it enters your system, you take less and get better results. Most other calcium products use simple "chelation" by adding aspartic acid or some other agent to the capsule, hoping the calcium will chelate in the gut. Without being pre-chelated, absorption will depend on your particular digestion and is hit and miss at best, which means you may not be getting the nutrients you’re counting on. If you aren’t absorbing it...what’s the point in taking it!
